| Diamond
Care |
A good way to keep
the sparkle and the shine in your diamond is to keep it
clean. While it can be very easy for a diamond to pick
up grease and oil from everyday activity, cleaning it
is even easier. Where buying a special jewelry cleaner
package is highly recommended, the diamond can still be
cleaned with everyday house products. Soak the diamond
ring in warm water with a bleach free gentle liquid detergent;
than dry it with a lint free cotton cloth. Brushes are
not recommended since the hard bristles may scratch the
gold mounting. Products such as ammonia and Eythol alcohol
are also recommended, but not for fractured diamonds where
these products can cause fogginess. |

| Storing Diamonds |
Diamonds should
be stored in individual compartments because they can scratch
other jewelry if they are all tossed in one big box. It
is also recommended to keep the precious ones wrapped in
a lint free cloth or even a tissue paper. |

| Watch Care |
Under no circumstances should
a watch be cleaned in any form of liquid. A light touch
up with a lint free cloth on the metal and the glass part
of the watch should do the trick, but be cautious when cleaning
the diamonds for you might loosen their mounting. It is
vital to remove you watch before gardening or any activity
near dirt, for fine dirt can penetrate hard to reach areas. |
